i want to build a kitchen table for bar stools?
Build your table legs to adjust to your bar stool height or go on line to a resturant furnishing store. They will have not only the tables but you will find the measurements and get some good ideas!

I’ve been looking around for a nice but good priced dresser for baby’s room. I’ve found lots of stuff but the price doesn’t seem to fit the quality.
USA Baby has nice furniture but the prices are a little high. Is there furniture solid wood? And is it really worth the price?
I ordered mine from the JC Penney catalog. It is solid wood, the dresser/changing table weighs about 100lbs. We live in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada – we are looking to get rid of our very usable dining room set (table, x6 chairs, long sideboard and china cabinet). Is there a place that someone can think of that would take it as a donation but give out a tax receipt for it???
Goodwill, the St. Vincent’s DePaul Society, the Salvation Army, and many other places will take your furniture off of your hands and issue you a receipt. Some will pick the furniture up and some will not. Best advice is to call them for information.
Good luck with your donation.
I want to get a bistro set for our front courtyard and I don’t know which material to pick. I heard cast aluminum is rust resistant and lasts longer. However, I live in a very windy area, and I am afraid it won’t be heavy enough. There’s too much concrete going on in that area, so I don’t want concrete furniture, either. Any opinions or suggestions?
Aluminium is much lighter than cast iron, but you would still need hurricane force winds to shift it. As long as the base of the table is as wide as the top, you shouldn’t have any problem with the wind tipping it over. The aluminum is also much easier to move around for rearranging.
Ok I need to fix my porch it’s caz a leak in the basement I am going to por a new porch rails and columns. $6,000 or less and I priced the furniture in Dec they gave me a price of $1,600 then it has went up to $2,000 but they said that they will honor the old price that was gave to me. 36 months 0% same as cash. I just got a promotion I have been with the company for 4 years plus about $38k only loan I have is a morgage. The porch will be about 12% I plan to put up atleast $1,000 cash. I am saving about $650 a month in 401k, roth IRA, company stock plan 15% discount.
the leak is not bad one spot just concreate down there it has to rain hard for couple hours.
I was asking should I just get one thing at a time or what? or save for both?
Get a home equity loan to do the home repair. As to the furniture, save up the money until you can pay cash. Good luck!
i was wondering if anyone knows where a good place to buy baby furniture (crib, swing, ect.)is in korea? there is absolutley no selection on base.
Travel up to Yongsan and go to the furniture store (it is on South post next to the movie theater). They will order stuff for you and you can have it delivered to your BX or if they have it in stock, they will ship it free to your BX. Same if you find something on AAFES.com
I wouldn’t suggest buying on the economy as it is VERY expensive(sometime 3x’s the cost).
I recently found out Storehouse went out of business. I’ve always been planning to add on some bedroom pieces, but now I’m out of luck! Does anyone know of a store that would sell similar furniture? I know Rowe has comparable sofas, but I’m looking for bedroom furniture. My set is the Java collection (espresso finish).
i think u can find help in

I have an 8 year old son, he wants to redo his bedroom. Right now its red with firetruck border. He wants something different, but he’s not sure how he wants it. Since I won’t switch from firetrucks trucks to police cars, we’re both a bit stuck. He has blue bedroom furniture and I don’t want to buy new. If any one can come up with any ideas I would appreciate it.
My son is 8 too and we are working on his room as well.
Personally….I’m not into any kind of themes at all, they grow out of them every year it seems like. I am going for a plain but modern room that he can grow into easily and not get sick of. If you go with plain, but add colors you can use little things as accents that can easily be changed out. Michaels craft store sells vinyl decals…they are about $15 my son picked the robot ones. So I painted his walls a light green with white molding and trim, his bedspread is different colors squares almost like a modern quilt, and some modern lighting. His toys and legos add the pop to the room I don’t think it needs to be all over the walls, too much stimulation.
I hope that helps.
I’m not sure which shade of blue his furniture is but you could do a pretty cool room using different shades of blue? So if his furniture is a dark blue then you could pain the walls a light blue and get medium blue pillows and maybe a bedspread with different color blue squares. I think it would be really cute!
Good luck
Contact paper is kind of a bugger to work with on something that large.
I think this will work. Sand it just enough to take off the shine, then wipe all the dust off with a damp cloth.Take out the drawers and spray the body of the cabinet with spray adhesive (3M makes a good one–something with 77 in the name), then apply unpasted wallpaper. I’d also suggest spray painting the drawer fronts a complementary or contrasting color because of the handles, buttons, etc..
Furniture. Car Bed frame. Twin size frame.
I think you have to make your own.
