I built this low-pro bed frame for my son’s 13th birthday. It’s made from hefty 1 1/2″ thick Ash from North Carolina. All joinery is Mortise & Tenon. The headboard panels are made from Agathis plywood, and the stain is a homemade concoction of Analine Dyes, mineral spirits and some pecan gel stain (Zar). The finish is sealed with unwaxed shellac and rubbed with 3-coats of boiled Linseed oil. Enjoy.
