i cut, peeled, sanded, drilled, sharpened, assembled, and stained every piece ![]()
i used some type of hardwood, and it cracked alot as it dried, which i had to fill with wood fill. i’m pleased with how the headboard turned out and it only cost me $12.00 to make…(wood fill ran me the $12.00)…next time i think i will use a soft wood and let the logs dry well, befor i use them. (thinking this will prevent the cracking).
