Pls help me choose the colour of my furniture in my living room. My wallpaper colour is white, while the carpet is red. Now I need to buy a sofa, a bookcase, coffee table and a TV stand.

At some stores, they have matching units (coffee table, bookcase, side table), in either oak, maple or walnut colour. In your opinion, which colour will fit my room better?

My sincere thanks,

I would get rid of the red carpet.

But other wise I guess cream sofa and a dark wood for the furniture.

I don’t know though..what goes with red carpet? 1974.

any light wood for the units and black for the furniture, with red accessories – cushions.

For your sofa you need a dark color such as navy blue or black ( I personally prefer navy blue) make sure it’s leather or pleather. Find a style in that color that fits your style, is comfortable, able to be cleaned easily, and maybe a little funky shaped if you want!! Go with a dark almost black wood or maple. NOT OAK! Make the style modern and your space will look up to dat in no time!

HI I think you should get a rich toffee colour for the sofa’s and black walnut for the bookcases, coffee table and tv stand. The black in the walnut goes with the red white and toffee colors. While still looking sophisticated and going with a colour scheme that works for everything.I hoped I helped you a lot.

i would go with the darker wood and a neutral color in furniture, light but not too light
